  2. Yes I'm sure a PhD would have interrupted this violent knife attack by getting in the middle and offering immediate counseling and referrals to outreach programs. Social workers are always ready to go to crime scenes 24/7 (assuming their cars and sirens work) - The lady in pink would have been very very grateful besides. I just know it.
