  1. If Dems are solidly behind Joe that can only mean one thing; The Obama people are solidly in charge and it's an open secret known only to the Left and mainstream Dems. They've been assured their desires and needs will be catered to. Others are in charge, not Joe Biden.

  2. There are many educated Dems - they had to be assured that despite the mental and physical health of Joe Biden, Barack Obama will monitor the situation. Even educated Dems have to be concerned who's in charge right now. Something/someone is assuaging/assuring them (imho.)
