  1. Good. This is fantastic news. Over time Standard Oil, Bell Telephone, Railroad and Tobacco companies were all found to have virtual monopolies and were broken up by the Courts. Teddy Roosevelt led the charge. 🇺🇸

  4. Whatever their description if there's complicity or near total control of a specific market things get dicey and the Courts should intercede. My approach is they're an oligopoly or monopoly. We're seeing their control over a former President even. Then there are freedom of speech issues besides.

  5. We have a lot of competitors in the phone industry and with oil now too. The key is to break up the grip of a monopoly tho the subsequent companies will probably exceed previous earnings. Not all do well...Kodak for instance.

  9. How rich are the founders/principle owners ? There's your answer about whether they're oligopolies or not. And - Did they act in concert with each other ? Even drug patents run out after a while. ....There's 80% of this case.
