  3. I think they feel so long as we have nukes we'll be safe under the MAD theory. Dems love to apply their certain final logic to the unknown, they oversimplify, etc.. No need to plan, we'll solve a problem when it happens. - 'Don't worry, be happy'. - How else could most Dems discount our Armed Forces.
