  2. Whenever you make an announcement that you're going to make a choice based on preference of color or nationality that statement discounts the value of all people. It panders to some and slights the rest and it's still an insult to the dignity of all mankind. In employment or housing it's illegal. Why not just say - I'm going to pick a most qualified person for the position.
