  11. ⁠ Seeyou Seemee  in the Soviet Union , we had factories making shoes. Except, the shoes weren’t sold. No one needed that lane shoes. They just put them in warehouses. Why? Because they kept the jobs open just so people could work. So just like curling, the shoes made were pointless. But in your world, the job of making shoes wasn’t pointless? You can have a pointless job. Just because you product something, doesn’t make your job not pointless. Curling is pointless. It’s an absurd sport. A warehouse full of shoes is also pointless. Both jobs producing them is pointless. And if our governments didn’t push curling in the Olympics; it wouldn’t exist. Just as factories making unused shoes wouldn’t exist, if the government didn’t create a situation that required it.
