  1. Nationwide there were less than 700 shootings using rifles each year. There are 300 million guns in America. Rifles have better safety records than cars and we are not banning them anytime soon to save lives. Add to that the CDC had a study that estimated up to 3 million lives are saved each year for defensive use of guns.

  2. Citizenship requirements aside, are there any illegals crazy enough to be thrown under the bus when it becomes politically convenient? There is a reason why blue city police departments can not find enough candidates.
