You are conflating a lot of liberal word salad into a giant mess. Businesses front money to make money. The more a business fronts cash, they need to make a return on it. This is more so if they have to borrow to buy capital, make payroll or buy the ingredients or goods to sell. By that natural extension, you will see a nominal increase in profits. But make no mistake, it does cost more as ingredients, cost of labor, rents and taxes go up.
