  1. Sorry, but China has been preparing to invade Taiwan since 1949. A little event called the Korean War diverted their manpower north to the Yalu River. The encirclement strategy stopped China and it would hold true until China modernized from funding from global trade. The issue is China lied about their demographics for a decade and now it had come back to bite them in the ass. Those troops you need to stage an invasion now would have been needed to be born 20 years ago. Their child births are declining from the one child policy and urbanization. If China wanted to invade Taiwan, it has to be now or the opportunity will pass.

  5. Just check the bond rates. They inverted already. Short term yield to maturity rates are equal to or greater than long term rates.
