Or a new way to provide VTOL with several of these engines using gasoline instead of heavy batteries driving lift only during take off and landings at strategic areas of the plane to balance the airframe.

I am surprised the Stirling engine is not used more in conjunction with solar reflectors. Environmentalists love to push for solar, but ignore the damage done from mining for rare earth elements to produce those panels and there is currently no way to recycle them profitably to make it widespread. Solar reflectors and the stirling engines do not go bad, can be repaired and can be recycled with regular scrap metal.

This company would be better off selling the efficiency, reliability and cost with less parts.

I am surprised the Volvo 240 was not used by rebel groups like the Toyota HiLux.

The E-turbo is a great idea. The V3, not so much.

They could do a hybrid rotary like poppet valve. It can open and close in a linear lateral fashion instead of rotation but the air travels in the middle of the valve and enters the cylinder through an opening like a rotary valve. A lip like a poppet valve would create the sealing.

Inline 6 in RWD. That is the BEST configuration.

Please use a dead blow next time. A solid steel hammer on the aluminum and bearings scare me.

This is much too complicated with the gears and double pistons. Just supercharge a flathead engine and buffer the air with a compression chamber and use the double cam in this 6 stroke design. The flathead engine will allow the valves to move more or less without damage and use the cams to regulate the flow of pressurized air that will be consistent with a tank.

I could see a separate smaller 2 stroke engine with a freevalve to control to route in exhaust gas at high speed and close off at low speed. There would be still a dead weight, but it can be much smaller.

This is VTEC on a transmission. Bravo to whoever thought up this Rube Goldberg design.

You forgot to mention the VTEC sticker added an additional 5hp.

The double piston rod idea can be applied to a traditional ICE if there was a reason that balance needs to be prioritized. It would require a slightly different camshaft.
