  1. As a postwar child (1948), I am trying very, very hard to make the rest of my life as pleasant as my limited finances will allow. I’m sure all fellow pensioners are doing the same - BUT, it’s just not possible. Ever since 20% of the electorate foolishly voted this anathema of a so-called ‘government’ into parliament, absolutely everything - I’m sure nobody will disagree with me saying that - is worse. We have a devious collection of nobodies pretending to run the country, with, inarguably, the worst alleged ‘prime minister’ in British history. I shall leave the tragedy of Southport alone since, firstly, I am too angry about the disgusting behaviour of the so-called ‘government’ and, secondly, most of the relevant matter is sub judice. I accept that Peter finds Southport the dominant subject of concern, but if there was one single act that could, potentially, make absolutely EVERYTHING worse - it was the ‘budget’. Ever since this heinous collection of nobodies entered parliament, pensioners have been treated like dirt - especially so - but nobody cares. The alleged ‘prime minister’ has a chancellor, as part of his portfolio of nobodies, who has managed to further destroy every aspect of our lives. I was at my brother’s yesterday for a meal and we are both well educated and knowledgeable (that’s a fact, not a boast) and couldn’t think of a single benefit to the nation of anything the so-called ‘chancellor’ said. Oh I forgot!! I went to my brother’s yesterday by train from Bolton, it was about 4.15 pm. With the knowledge that train drivers are going to be paid ludicrous sums for a four day week, I looked at the departure screen and - absolutely typical for Bolton - out of 11 trains listed, four were cancelled and one was late. Even worse, this weekend, for whatever reason, there are no trains to Preston, Wigan and other stations en route, no trains to Clitheroe and the ‘scrolling message’ indicated Northern Trains problem with staffing for other routes (obviously Manchester bound) and passengers should ‘plan in advance’. Most decent folk are sick to the back teeth of our precious country sliding into oblivion at a faster rate. Most are sick of seeing tenth rate nobodies strutting around Westminster ruining our lives. Please make sure you vote REFORM from this moment on, at every local and national election. ‘labour’ must never, ever be elected to Westminster again - ever. 👍🇬🇧👍🇮🇱👍🇬🇧👍🇮🇱👍🇬🇧👍
