  2. Rafe is spot on, as usual. My (very strong) view is that the BBC needs to be defunded IMMEDIATELY. I have neither sympathy nor interest in the financial well-being of any of its employees. Let it struggle to survive commercially under a sort of ‘pay as you go’ system. Its demise shall, I am absolutely sure, act as a catalyst in the reversal of regressive activity originated from its feeble actions as the propaganda arm of an even feebler House of Commons. We have to start somewhere to reclaim our wonderful country; let it be a splendid centenary celebration of how wonderful ideas disintegrate into vile, obnoxious drivel, detested by all decent, intelligent, free thinking citizens; leading to the BBC being no more. Its appalling viewing figures are an excellent indication of the detestation of this leech of an institution in our midst.
