As a postwar child, having seen my once prosperous town of Bolton, a town of prodigious cotton manufacture, engineering &c., slide down the slope of desolation and poverty - M&S is soon to close its huge shop, the last nail in the coffin for quality shopping in the town - I am beyond angry at the illegals arriving in quantity every day. Where does all this drivel come from regarding ‘the law’ and these illegals’ ‘rights’? I don’t know ANYONE who cares tuppence about them, or what happens to them mid Channel. I and my concerned friends ARE desperately worried about the thousands of people in my town (this is a situation repeated many times elsewhere) who are struggling to get anything. THEY would love free spending money, three free meals a day, free travel, free hotel accommodation in fact free EVERYTHING. Can we stop it now? Or are all our politicians such weak-kneed blobs of jelly that they are worried about shadows falling the wrong way when the sun comes out?
