Throwing people in jail over their barrels being slightly too short or their gun being scary looking is not going to help. 45000 people are dying from preventable diseases in America due to being unable to afford healthcare. Gun violence is one of many side effects of a failing system.

@therationalnational yet which specific law do you propose wouldve stopped this? The guy was clearly over 21 and he somehow had access to a police car and uniform which seemed to have aided more in him reaching people he wished to harm. Assault weapon laws already do nothing because theres no actual proper definition for an assault rifle. In places like California you can still obtain an AR-15 just with a changed stock and easily manufacture your own magazine despite laws. My point about socioeconomic conditions still stands. Huge chunk of gun deaths are in fact suicides or gang related.
