You haven't looked, then. We have hours of TV recordings for every single Apollo mission, along with thousands of photos made by Ranger, Surveyor, Lunar Orbiter, Apollo, Lunar Reconnaissance C=Orbiter, Chandrayaan, Chang'e and Selene missions.

Several countries (USA, Japan, India, China) have launched lunar orbiters which have photographed the entire lunar surface, including the landing sites of each Apollo mission (and landing/crash sites of the many missions sent by the US and USSR in the 1960s and 1970s). The resolution is high enough that you can see the foot tracks of the astronauts.

The Surveyors were guided from Earth: measurements from Goldstone established the position of the spacecraft, and a pretty simple landing program was started on ground command. The Surveyor had a landing radar so it could adjust its engines to make a soft landing, but it seems to have had no flexibility in choosing a landing site.

Nope. There were program alarms that indicated the computer was overloaded. The computer automatically reset and shed low-priority tasks. Armstrong switched from Program 64 (land in preselected spot) to P66 (manually adjust the landing spot). Both had the computer in the loop, in P66 the computer managed the spacecraft attitude while Armstrong moved in the X and Y directions.

@lymancopps5957 'just fine' was an answer from someone else. There was an issue: the computer had more tasks than it was designed to handle: Aldrin had started one extra task that was non-essential and put the computer over 100% utilization. However, it had built-in routines for dealing with such situations, so without operator intervention it shed the low-priority tasks, while keeping the essential stuff operational. This was not a failure of the computer: it kept running, and it automatically solved the problem.
