@texkillerson6681 I've tried explaining this strategy to many progressives but they're so arrogant they completely dismiss it. If the progressives want power they're gonna have to manipulate the majority vote by pretending that they are similar to the incumbents they're challenging so that the ppl feel more comfortable voting for them. Once the progressive candidates win THEN they should start implementing progressive policies as soon as they gain power. If the progressives keep trying to force the majority to vote for the unpopular policies they'll continuously lose.

@texkillerson6681 to answer your first question i can't say that all progressives want power for their own personal agenda. Im just simply saying that if progressives are running against in predominantly neolib and conservative areas they're gonna have to pretend to be one in order to gain seats because those ppl like to vote for policies they're familiar with. The answer to your second question is that the reason progressive policies are unpopular with conservatives and neolibs is because they know that their taxes will go up with progressive policies and they don't like that at all. Pharmcare isn't the only policy they don't like, they pretty much hate every policy that the progressives talk about and all they see is their taxes rising for policies they don't want.

@ejs6204 unfortunately it's looking like it more and more as this impeachment bs goes on. While all of the candidates who are currently in congress will be required to attend the impeachment trial that leaves yang, buttigeg, biden, and Bloomberg as the remaining candidates on the campaign trail and also leaves room for Hillary to slide right in.

@DinoCism i think the ndp are making a huge mistake by putting colored ppl in the race to push their narratives. They should change how they deliver their message in order to con their way into power. The truth is the ndp scare the average voter into not voting for them so i suggest they tell the average voters what they are most comfortable with hearing so they can gain power and then push their legislation once they get voted in.
