James Redic im not using "whataboutism" im simply looking at all sides to see whats the better option you know just critical thinking which is missing in our society currently because that has been replaced with feelings. All im saying is the public citizens whether you're Republican, Democrat, or progressive you're gonna have to get out of your feelings about each other and sit at the round table and discuss a plan that works for everyone because right now each party is dismissive of the other simply because of feelings. Politics is a business and in business you don't have to like each other but ppl who are critical thinkers will always put their differences aside for the sake of profit and thats how you get things done.

Of course it comes from us and animals but the largest mass of carbon dioxide comes from the planet itself meaning we can't control how much carbon the earth produces. Now carbon monoxide is the real issue because it comes from the use of fossil fuels and i think thats where ppl get confused in terms of good carbon and bad carbon. Carbon dioxide is good but carbon monoxide is bad.

@citypunk326 im not Puerto Rican nor do i care about Puerto Ricans or Puerto Rico so that natural disaster was gonna happen regardless. Thats what happens in nature old islands disappear under water and new islands form on the horizon that has been happening since the beginning of earth. Do you also know that at one point humans used to use steam powered engines and wind sails for ships cars trains and planes so humans have already practiced alternative energy long before this green new deal discussion.

This happend to me because of bad eating habits smoking and drinking. I caused my own demise not the oil industry. We're all gonna die one day and i don't care how much money you have you can't negotiate with death.

J Walker i don't doubt the republicans shady way of doing this but the democrats actually had a chance to pass the bill if they really wanted to but neither democrat voted yes on it even Bernie didn't vote. When both parties want to push an agenda they always use scare tactics to get the ppl to vote for their own demise while the elite capitalise off the situation. Almost every bill that's passed into law is a business transaction and its no different with the green new deal. The ppl who make wind turbines and solar panels will become multi billionaires and the politicians who are pushing to pass it will make a fortune as well its all about money however the average citizen will get left with the stress of paying for it as usual.

J Walker i just downloaded the resolution she proposed there's some good things but the bad part is she wants every building and every home to switch to green energy within the next 10 yrs. The problem with that is ppl who own their home what if they can't afford to convert to green energy ? And her plan doesnt fully eliminate the use of fossil fuels and that's what alot of ppl have an issue with.

J Walker that's the weird thing there aren't any spacifics it just says every building and home would have to change to green energy. My issue is her proposal doesnt call for eliminating fossil fuels when that's the thing causing carbon monoxide. The proposal looks like it was written by someone with a business interest.
