  1.  @Jornandreja  you can't win an election with just one-sided votes. Ppl from different parties also have to vote for them as well so that means there were some dems who voted for trump as well. As far as impeachment goes Nancy already explained how that works even if he's impeached it doesn't mean he'll be removed from office. Even when Bill Clinton was impeached he stayed in office until the next president was chosen. The public doesn't have a say in the impeachment process anyway it's mainly up to Congress whether or not to impeach.

  3. @Adam Jacobs i know how economics work but i keep hearing progressives talk about "eating the rich" when poor ppl want more money to spend in which the corporations benefit from. So aren't you actually feeding the rich at that point? Btw i don't hate Bernie's policies but im just noticing that alot of progressives are giving mixed signals.

They always show that they're all about the wealthy. The progressives are the one shouting eat the rich while simultaneously saying they want more money to spend which actually feeds the rich.

  10.  @thevisitor135  that is true but im not against raising minimum wage im just simply pointing out that $15/hr still isn't enough to maintain a house hold when the cost of living has gone up dramatically and that's what ppl haven't factored in. Raising minimum wage would give ppl 600/wk before taxes but once you start subtracting all of the cost of living plus if you have kids then you're still barely scraping by. I say ppl should be paid according to the cost of living in certain areas or (cost of living adjustments). Even bernie knows that $15/hr isn't enough which is why he suggests we expanded social welfare programs to go along with it to help balance out the cost of living.

  14.  @gardensup52  so you don't know what $15/hr equates to? It's only 600 a week before taxes are taken then you're down to maybe 525/wk if you're lucky and that only equates to 2100/month. If your rent is anywhere between 950 to 1100 a month thats half of your monthy income not to mention all your other expenses. So in conclusion even with $15 minimum wage you're still getting paid the bare minimum. However only if you live in southern states that the minimum wage increase will help you but if you live in NY or L.A. $15 minimum wage is nowhere near enough with rent costing 1200 or more a month for just a studio apartment.
