@VChong1991 you clearly dont understand the concept of geopolitics. if the US didnt cross the sea multiple times in the last 200 years, Europe will still be like in 1900, with 6 different empires fighting each others. in Europe we all SECRETLY praise the USA for granting us peace for so long, with the blood of their citizens. No one will tell you directly, because we are envious. But that's a fact. USA politicians have been smarter than European ones. European politicians were gradually bought off and blackmailed by russians. now we need the US again to stop russia. Don't udnerestimate the THREAT of Russia to Europe. They are bloodthirsty, they are imperialists, they don't care baout human rights or democracy. Europe is strategically important to the US, so yeah. Its smart to send troops to defend NATO countries. Because you keep the russians in check. If you don't fear the russians its because you are colluded with putin OR really ignorant about the world situation right now. Don't assume that democracy and peace is a GRANTED thing. Si vis pacem, para bellum.
