Recycling gives you let's say 80% back. So every year you lose 20% of that material. HOW IS THIS A THIGN WE CNA DO FOREVER? Recycling ONLY WORKS IF YOU STILL HAVE PRODUCITON!   6. Not a solution, farming is even MORE dangerous than livestock. Farming consumes land, fertilizers pollute the water, farming depletes the ground of minerals etc thus making the soil unfertile and leading to desertification in the long run. Housing and human pollution won't change even if we swithc to vegetables only. The deep root problem is HUMANS. We are to many. None of these "solutions" take into account this simple fact: as long as humans grow in number, the pollution will keep growing. Malthus will be right in the end.

Thus we will consume FAR MORE vegetables and to do that we will need to expand agriculture but as I already pointed out, agriculture is highly damaging for the ecosystem and is one of the major causes of desertification, soil pollution and soil "death" due to the crops making the terrain unfertile after years of intense farming. "the plant based in the US is enough for" HUMANS ARE NOT COWS! We cannot survive on just corn ahahah you need tons of different plants to have a proper Vegan diet, not jsut 2-3 plants. THus you would need giant plantations for thousands of different crops all over the world. Or are you telling me that you survive on CORN alone? Look I grow my own plants, I know what I am talking about. PLUS if you remove livestock, you remove natual biological fertilizer. Without fertilizer you cannot make the ground fertile as quikly, we would go back to middle-ages level of crop productivity. This is impossible to sustain with a 9 billion human population. You fucking idiot, I am not against Veganism, I'm telling you that Veganism is sustainable only if SOME people do it, if ALL the humans go vegan, the system would COLLAPSE. Humans need more variety than cows, and even assuming we dont vary our diet and accept the health issues connected, we would still need TOO MUCH LAND to farm. What are you even saying here? You really think we would need LESS land to farm if weremove cows? Thats factually wrong.... Look , you don't get it..I know that it takes MORE CROPS to feed a cow than to feed a human, no one said thats not true, what I am saying is that you will need LOTS of crops to substitute meat, 1 kg of meat holds FAR MORE CALORIES than 1 kg of crops.   26. I agree with you that we are far bette roff now with semi-capitalism than ever..but on one thing he is right: resources are limited. Theres already lack of rare materials used for chips and technological stuff, I doubt we will be able to "technologize" all homes as this dude seems to belive (also who's gonna pay for it). But the main problem is that we cannot expand human population FOREVER, agriculture and livestock are the number 1 cause of pollution and desertification. Even if we will have fancy flying cars and fancy houses, we will still keep killing off fauna and flora to make new fields and we will still need constantly more energy for new hosues and new cities that will grow.
