  1. I am pro-choice but a baby is not a parasite by definition. A parasitic organism by definition is an organism which benefits from the direct harm of another host organism. Meaning if neither organism is harmed, they both benefit, or they are both harmed by the relationship, or one benefits and the other is neither harmed nor benefits it’s not parasitic, it’s only parasitic if the host is harmed and the hostee is benefiting. Baby’s actually provide benefits to the mother during pregnancy, such as a boosted immune system. The baby and mother relationship is not a parasitic one but rather a Mutualist relationship. Furthermore Reproduction is considered a direct biological benefit as organisms must reproduce to survive on a species level. But even on an individual level the mother benefits outside of existential, social means.
