That’s gospel brother, that platform is a breeding ground for aggressive and irrational behavior

@Senny_V idk man purposely removing body parts to me just seems very butchery, sure it’s consensual but like if I asked someone to cut off my arm cause I didn’t want it anymore, doesn’t really change the fact the it’s a very questionable action by them and a very questionable decision by me, and while that analogy might not be perfectly equivalent to this situation, I guess I just don’t understand why we are trying to solve a psychological problem with physical solutions. At the end of the day though it’s not really my problem so whatever.

@vetlelg I think having serious health issues + the hate and vitriol he likely got being associated to the right/conservatism online whilst being a public figure finally broke him and now he is just being tribalistic and aggressive about politics. It’s sad but I could easily see any rational person breaking into less civil behavior in those conditions.

It’s what Twitter does to people lol

@thaddeusbeadle6546 to be fair he has been a public figure since 2016 ish + Had serious health issues + was highly targeted for vitriol by the more progressive or left leaning online groups due to his association to the right/conservative groups + he actively made his career in the public politics space(probably the most conflict heavy social space ever) and honestly I can see how that would grind someone’s mental health down to making such an irrational public tantrum.

1:02:00 just seems like Peterson is Paranoid and Jaded with his age and he believes there must be a Malevolence to peoples actions. Seeing as he seems to be obsessed with the 1940s and all of the Nazis and Communist problems of the past, it seems he maps that specific period in history onto everything nowadays. Which even if it’s logical to understand history and apply knowledge from it, we can’t literally live our daily lives solely by it. He is literally stuck in the past with how he is assessing the modern world. Furthermore I fear he is unintentionally acting as an agent of a self fulfilling prophecy, building a reason and ideology by which people may very well become what he fears because he is so obsessed with applying it to the world.
