@fabioasterix750 President was elected in 2019 with 73 % of votes. There were 39 candidates. Also the old president Poroshenko. International organisations confirmed fair free democratic elections. The right wing parties had no chance (1,5%) and in government of Jewish president are no Nazi (coalition party or persons). There is no racism or discrimination against minorities in Ukraine. Only on occupied areas of course by Russian leaders there. In Russia there is no democracy. Who says: “no war” in public, is arrested (15.000 Russians already). Who wanna be democratic president and candidate against Putin, is killed or 15 years in prison with no reason. Corruption is a problem in both countries. Oligarchs got wrong power and money after end of communist time. So there is still work to improve the democratic system.

What is better: together with European Union or together with Russia??? To live like in Czech Republic and Austria or to live like in Belarus? Of course people maid demonstrations. The old president let his secret police kill 85 of these protest people. Two days later he escaped to Russia. After this there were new elections. 43 Mio people voted. Poroshenko president. 2019 again elections. International organisations said: free fair elections. Do you think, people preferred another candidate but he was not allowed to take part? Who do you mean? Okay, you see, you said bullshit. People also elected for right wing party 2014: 10 %, 2019: 1,5 % and also for pro-Russian parties. There is a free democratic country and free press. 2019 the president Poroshenko lost the voting against candidate Selenskyi, you see: the old president had to give up his job and to give power to another president. In Crimea Russian military occupied the area and dismissed the elected parliament of Crimea, killed people and took violently the power. They ordered new leaders as military dictatorship and made in the same week a “referendum” as a fake. International organisation confirmed it as a big fake. Most people did not take part in voting, so a referendum needs a minimum of participation, not here 2014. You can read all in 5 min in wiki. And in a lot of other sources. Crimea. The land of Tartaren. Till Stalin deported them. 1991 lived there 58% Russian nationality. Even that most people also on Crimea said “yes” to the referendum for independence of Ukraine from Soviet Union.

@fabioasterix750 What media was closed? In the Parliament of Kiev there are different pro-Russian parties. The election of president Poroshenko was in May 2014. but Russians soldiers occupied the Crimea and parts of Luhansk and Donezk in March 2014. Please read 5 min Wiki to learn the basics.

@Petal4822 I am very often in Ukraine, mostly in Kiev, last time under (one) helicopter in March 2022. You don’t answers and has no arguments. I read and see all. Russian troll videos from Lancaster, speeches from Lawrow, Putin, interviews from Peskow (speaker of Putin), statements from speaker of minister of Defense of Russian federation. Also I read statements from international press and United nations and court for human rights in Den Haag, from Red Cross (asking today again to be allowed to enter Mariupol, but Russia hide their crimes there and deport people to Russia), from Hunan rights watch, statements from OSCE. I see Russian propaganda in Russian tslkshows, sad asking for revenge for sank ship Moskva. I read Washington post and SPIEGEL and I read RIA Novosti 08.04.2022: „what to do with Ukraine?“ and the suggesting in this Russian mainstream newspaper: „let‘s kill all Ukrainian!“ We all love that nice Mr. Putin... He send also 15.000 own people to arrest saying “no war”. Nice man...
