Reality is the end of the progressive movement will effectively be this election. They will be forced to confront their own failure with this election. They double downed once but that proved to be ineffective. It also succeeded in killing whatever goodwill and credibility they had as a political entity. When they raised their hands to covering medical costs of illegal immigrants and the cost would be soaked by the taxpayer that was the end of their national hopes of electing a nominee. At this point though it should be noted that by doing what they did to the Democrat party and pushing out moderates they also forever changed the Republican party. Moderates from the democrats actually defected to the republican party and effectively changed that party and even softened much of it's positions. The republican party at this juncture is effectively purple as a end result. Despite what the democrats may claim Trump's tax cuts actually helped the working class more than the billionaires. I am far better off under Trump than under Obama or Bush. The only thing that would be nice is if the Republicans would rein in the spending and curb the appetite for deficit budgets.

So indeed that is alot of money going to administration that doesn't take into account the contractors, and other administrative expenditures. Which of course must be made for the sake of the poor and disenfranchised. Then again you could of course give money to charities that actually spend more on the poor than they do on administration.

I'm a a Christian and do not think that a person should be jailed for speaking against religion. There have always been those who speak against faith in God. Blasphemy laws can just as well be used against religious people as well as non religious. So lets not have blasphemy laws we cannot tolerate a centralized government that makes establishment of religion. For if you disagree with the governments idea of religion you would be in jail. The constitution forbids government establishment religion and allows the free exercise of belief. That is how it should be. You are not free if you are not allowed to have your own beliefs.

I never really liked Trump but I also don't like the left either. I will say this though I am glad he dismantled the anti industry and commerce regulations that Bush and Obama enacted since he took office. I also glad he has deported many of the criminals that are here illegally. In my own area several suspected members of the infamous MS13 and other gang affiliated members have been sent back. I will say though I disapprove of his involvement in foreign conflicts like Syria. That being said I believe the left(calling them liberals or democrats at this point is laughable) has shot themselves in the face. Trump whom I really find egotistical and a dick in general has succeeded in taunting the left into showing it's ugly true colors. This will most assuredly harm them come 2020. I think whoever runs against Trump will be cringing no end when they realize raising your hand for population disarmament and health care and other social services being granted to illegal immigrants is biting them in the ass and cost them their bid for POTUS. That will be quite enjoyable to watch as they squirm trying to find a way to sound centrist after raising their hands for that lmao.
