He is primarily concerned about the average American and domestic affairs. That isn't to say he has played zero role in the world but he has been more concerned about the US interests. This is indisputable, renegotiate trade relations to make trade more fair for the US, allowing for an all of the above approach to energy exploration. I could go on.   7. We lost a good worker in the plant I work in he was passed over for promotion to a black woman. He is a black man with years of experience in the department in question and she has zero experience. Apparently she covers all the diversity and inclusion bench marks but Freddie doesn't. His last day is tomorrow and he will be working for a competitor as a supervisor. We lost a skilled, experienced, and capable leader who has proven himself so to justify a token promotion that proves we aren't misogynistic. I wish this ruling happened a month ago. I'll miss Freddie hope he is successful in his new posting. That is the dark side of affirmative action. Skin color and gender have nothing to do with qualifictions.

  8. I like your way of thinking. God given or natural rights are built into any human being that desires to live so. Frankly I'm fed up with this idea that we are governed here in the US. That is really a poor mindset we are represented we are not the governed. We lend power to those who actually "represent" our interests. If they don't represent those interests then vote them out. If you are dissatisfied with the authoritarians then eliminate them at the ballot box. Since they won't catch the hint then they can be politically retired as it where.

  10. MotherAce I didn't like Trump or Hillary and did a write in on that score. Both leave a foul taste in your mouth but Trump has made a glorious chaotic mess in this countries power structure. The establishment politicos are falling out of favor and that is a good thing. Right now people are seeing the divide of left and right but missing something important. We now have liberals libertarians, conservatives and other ideological viewpoints who openly dialogue and even critique each other. You won't find that on the left. We challenge ideas and debate them and we disagree but we don't ostracize each other for wrong think. Sure you have diehard Trump fans but by and large we are growing in thought and are diverse ideologically. Who would think twelve years ago that Dave Rubin and Crowder having conversations even though they disagree on many issues. Stephen Molyneaux and Dr. Jordan Peterson a libertarian who is almost a anarchist and a classical liberal in open dialogue. I think that we are having a real rennaisance in ideology here and I think its healthy. Arguments and disagreements aren't a bad thing the refusal to consider a divergent view just because. In the end it comes down to are you a person with ideas or are you a person possessed by an idea? I know that may sound weird but just what I think.

Having people arrested for walking in parks where no one is present. Having church services that where drive thru in nature(meaning no one got out of their cars but where present to hear a sermon given on a PA system) license plates noted and later ordered to be in mandatory lockdown. I can list others and what they have done but you know full well that they have seized far too much control and taken far too much advantage of this situation. Also don't even begin to say Trump is the one who did this. Trump followed the federalist route as he should have allowing the governors and states to implement the guidelines for this lock down. That is he decentralized and gave flexibility to the states to implement guidelines and distribute resources as their states require. Yet why is it that in more moderate and conservative states there hasn't been this kind of draconian power grabs? Do tell me please then or shall you do what many on your side of the fence that are far left continue to ignore these afronts to liberal ideas and principles?

I may not be able to be with my church family right now but my love for them has not diminished. Though there are unkind people who cannot wrap their head around these awful times is present my sense of peace and calm has not been disturbed. I applaud you for learning how important free speech is and it's importance in our lives. No one enjoys being lied to consistently and persistently.   29. Young people are attempting to develop in this world and I think most are fed up with road blocks being put in their way. I am seeing more and more young people rebellious about it. No the parents aren't behind it. Most people are too busy with life to pay attention to what's going on. Until their kid asks, "I don't have to wear this pride shirt do I?" No children can't make very big decisions like voting but they do know when something is too much. These leftists believe parents are teaching these kids to reject the curriculum they are being subjected to. Not everyone is political or religious. Many are agnostic on these issues. Even if there is a positive benefit in a belief most won't entertain it. They just want to be left in peace. Want to see violent push back try to force yourself into people's lives.   42. My comment to Mr. Shellenbergers ideas about education. The problem with his ideas on education is the teacher to student ratio is bad everywhere in the US. If you have more than 24 students to a class room the teacher really has no way to help students that are falling behind. They are overwhelmed a better system would be night and evening classes for highschool. Preparing students for vocational and academic courses universities and tech schools. In fact you would be able to hire more teachers full time and part time to alleviate the ratio. Also make a 12 month school year but like summer classes be optional. Students interested in getting ahead would take advantage of summer school. This would allow teachers who normally have no job during summer breaks to actually have one and get paid. Also parternering up with colleges tech schools and universities would also be a good idea. Giving advanced students the option to take classes in community colleges as well for college credit etc would also put those students forward at an appropriate level and allowing students that are borderline receive more attention and instruction. Perhaps this may seem strange idea but to me highschool students need preparation for college so it would behoove us to make highschool a predatory system. With a emphasis on critical thinking.
