The reason some of these tech layoffs hurt those laid off is it was in jobs that didn't require much from them. The perks were indeed astounding catered meals less than couple hours(being genorous) work and free swag etc. They will never find a job like that again the reality has hit them hard. I suspect some of those laid off may never recover. How does one recover from the loss of job that provided six figures and demanded little to no effort?

What is sad is I work with quite a few women 29 years old and up that now don't have men throwing cash at them anymore or bootie calls etc. Only now do they realize their lives are wasted. One particular one comes to mind. She thought a guy was into her, but the guy in question when told hey she really into you. He replied nah man I ain't looking for a woman, and if I was looking, she wouldn't be on the radar." His reason was that she was too old and desperate. He didn't need the drama.

@phelonyboy There is no doubt in my mind / is a terrorist attack perpetrated by the left. Children should be allowed to be children. The entire left weaponized this individual. When you say words are violence and that is a justification for physical violence to be employed. This is the end result. The word that triggered this violent act was no. No, you will not butcher a child in this state for your narrative and ideology. I doubt the police will release their manifesto and even if they did. It is doubtful the national press will run it. That would make them have to answer some real hard questions.

We had a teacher in 91, my junior year civics teacher. She claimed she was 1/10th black. Always talking about how racist we were. Finally I got fed up with her bs told her she was out of line. I went off. I told her this class is supposed to be about learning about government local, state, federal and individual freedom in an objective fashion. As a teacher she had failed. I then grabbed my books went to the office went and asked if I could transfer to another class. My principal asked why. I told him I have absolutely no desire to hear how racist I am every second I'm in civics class. This kind of bs has been going on for a long time. The reason this is so prevalent is now the old objective academic rigor teacher is now the exception instead of the norm.

I went to diner a while back and was told it was closed do to a hood vent fire as health department, fire marshals, and osha regulations require the hoodvents in good operating order or remain shut down until corrected. I felt bad for them and told the owner i hope he was able to correct the situation in a quick way. You know things do break down and become damaged. Geeze these entitled people are too much.

What I find here is the woke are so shocked that most people who have children want kids to be allowed to be kids. Most kids just want to play sports and just play. These lgtbq people only talk about their feelings. They don't care about children at all.

I would like to correct our good friend black conservative. Most of the doctors paraded around by the woke left community are from the humanities departments at university. They are not clinical academics. Yes they have doctorates but not in medicine, biology, or even psychiatry. They are "experts" without certification or accreditation. Once you reveal that and their assertions are erroneous and seriously criminal.

People vote their hopes. A person that can't offer hope will not succeed. All the left can offer is negativity. That is the disconnect. Voters are tired of nobody listening to them. A candidate that listens and acts and addresses concerns will be much more attractive candidate than a candidate who only listens to the echo chamber.
