I like the Thor you imagine in the scenario provided. I find it a pity that certain people that are agenda driven feel the need to destroy a good established character simply to continue their twisted agenda.

I had to point out to a very woke acquaintance that Robin Hood wasnt stealing from the rich to give to the poor. As regent prince John was a totalitarian Monarch. He was the government. His taxation schemes on the pretense of getting together the money to buy Richard the lionhearts freedom was at issue. In otherwords it was stealing the taxes back to give back to the people on the edge of famine. The rich weren't at isue but a government/crown that could care less if the citizens being overtaxed would starve. Really glitched their brain considering what my view was hinting at.

Sadly someone beat me to quoting your hail mary broadside of a quote. So lets just say this show is another reason why WB actually stands for WHAT BULLSH!T.

The problem with hollywood writers and directors this day and age is they don't know their source material. They never read Justice League, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Aquaman, or the Flash. So they make cardboard cutouts of these long established characters. I mean honestly why bring in SteppenWolf at all you had DarkSeid. I mean if they wanted to make a Justice League movie at all with Superman Dead bring out that story arc. Dark Seid Doomsday and just spread out over a series of movies. That would have been a vast improvement right?

@patrickmccabe2078 True they did. I think the problem you have is that many lauded writers in Hollywood want to put their spin on a franchise. They end up writing a story that is a pale imitation of the characters. Really if a Hero doesn't have a personal internal struggle can you even relate to them? I mean that is why they seem like cardboard cut outs. Captain America was extremely well written a man who valued ideas of freedom and the desire to protect people when their lives and freedom are threatened. Yet he struggled with the loss of everyone he loved and tried to bring a friend who had been lost back. That is compelling storytelling. We all can relate to that.

I blame the cultural morons in this world for your alcoholism. I'm sorry sir that this culture did this to you. That being said you where probably more entertaining than the GOT producers. They should have hired you to do the commentary on this shit show of a season. Thank you sir for your whit and true commentary. Please don't die from alcohol poisoning sir. We would prefer you alive to shed some light on the bull shit they now call entertainment in hellywood. Where all good plots are sent to hell. To be roasted(pun intended) to the point of stupidity.

Frankly Picard became the plank of wood he was afraid of when Q showed him the existence that awaited Picard who didn't take any risks. Q probably created a concrete wall so he could bang his head against it in frustration. (Fuck off show!)

Actually the easy way out for him is this. , "Actually that was just a silly rumour. Right now at this time we have no new projects greenlit. We are right now reorganizing and preparing to restructure in the midst of the pandemic we are in currently." That boys is how you are able to defuse a feminist land mine without having to wade in on a very volatile lefty bullshit flanking maneuver." Them Emperor protects!

Actually Finlnland was allies of the Germans during WW2. Germans were not allowed to put forces there. Mainly Germans gave them logistical support such as weapons and amphetamines to help combat the Soviets who were attempting to take over their country at the time. Now remember though it's a fiction. Just pretend it's a alternate time line and just enjoy the film.

Falling Down was a awesome film. I was 19 and in the army when it came out. I had weekend liberty and went to a theater to unwind after a long week of drills. I bought a ticket for it and found myself by myself as everyone else was watching the other films that came out at the time. I watched it and found myself thinking holy shit this could be anyone in the country. I also thought why aren't more people interested in watching this movie?

Critical Drinker I would like to ask you to take a look at a film short called Astartes. I would like for you to watch it and perhaps give us your impressions of it. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFMtdiQILuTZr22sKUeAOOA Just watch the five videos in order and maybe give your impressions of it. It is a fan film from the Warhammer 40k universe. Also would you watch a series if it was made in the vein of this kind of style. I hope you watch it and that you'll enjoy it.

You know Critical Drink I love your scenarios and how you are able to not just hit the nail on the head but drive the point home so hard that it goes through the plank into the ground and through all the way to Kim Jung Un who happened to be laying on operating bed and almost died. Not like that really happened hmmmmmmmmmmm.
