  1. The western leaders have stuck their hand in a monkey trap. The trap is a narrow opening in a box. You bait the trap with a treat or prize. The trap is easily escaped if it wasnt for greed. Hubris is a dangerous thing. The west is unwilling to give up any territory they have set their sights on. That is the trap. They are spending themselves into oblivion. What is laughable is those billions spent on grandiose weapons that are highly expensive and of questionable strategic value. Why questionable? Having two or three systems that require millions to produce, maintain, and use. That makes those systems of dubious value. The best possible solution is change course and give up hegemony. Thus the trap and the monkeys inability to let go.
