The cop better keep in mind that the horn probably saved his municipality a huge lawsuit. He came Hella close to side swiping a citizen who thankfully was alert enough to give a warning honk. Number 8 Had a similar incident happen during Christmas. I went with my brother to pick up a Christmas tree. This large blob of a human came out of his vehicle, leaving his door open. The light had gone green, so my brother went forward, and it really messed up the guys driver side door. The police listed the rager as a fault for exiting his vehicle in an unsafe manner on a roadway. My brother got his front passenger panel repainted. Just remember to say "you were in fear for the safety of your passenger and yourself," Not saying it will work in all states but it will in most states.

For half the submitters slow down. Most are most assuredly going to fast. No one was cutting you off going 20 miles over the limit is the reason for the close calls.

@Juggzy Agreed. If you are overtaking a truck to pass it would be smart to give them 4 to five car lengths behind you before you change lanes. Also patience is needed also trying to cross two lanes to catch a exit is just stupid. Some truckers that are dangerous are those who drive like they don't have 40 to 50tons on board and think they can maneuver like they are in a 2 door sport.

Understand tensions are high at that moment but don't engage with the other driver in conversation. Wait for the police and have your information ready.(DL, insurance, registration) Inform the officers you have a dash cam that recorded the accident. You have to remain calm. I know it's hard but getting in your feels will hurt more than help. If they want to rant and rave let them. You have proof a unbiased witness that exonerated you. Let the officers, insurance and courts settle it. Otherwise you may escalate the situation hurting your case instead of helping it.

First video in Tennessee the producing and brandishing a weapon would constitute battery. If he attempted to use that weapon one could say with all due seriousness they were in fear of life and limb for tge self defense for shooting or pepper spraying the individual. Just saying.

We had a school bus driver like this. She was a danger not only her passengers but to those on the road. One day shemdrove on the four lane down the white,stripe to keep anyone from passing. The thing is none of the children lived on the four lane. She was finally removed as a driver. Thankfully no one was harmed by her mental episode. Food for thought.

Yes trucks have to make a wide turn but not from the left lane. New truck drivers are poorly trained in most cases end result dangerous truckers.

If you get into a incident with another driver dont confront them. Call the police wait on them. All the police to investigate. If you have dash cam footage supply it to the officers. Stay calm and in frame. If they attempt to escalate before the police arrive start recording with your cell. If you carry be ready in case they attempt violence. By carry i mean, fire arm, pepper spray or taser. Dont get out stay in your vehicle keep your windows rolled up. Dont engage in conversation with them. Tell them return to your vehicle and wait for the police to respond.

First video the officer was out of line. If not operating on a emergency or performing a pursuit he is subject to all traffic laws as any other citizen. That behavior needs to be reported to his superiors. He is setting a bad example for his department and his fellow citizens. He needs to do better.

@Whatamidoinghere262 ok on a interstate you would be right. On turn pikes, expanded 4 lane streets they are actually travel lanes also. My suspicion is that many who are on interstates are oblivious to this difference. The aypttempts to alleviate traffic has just added to this confusion.

Got news for you in this economy attempted car insurance fraud is on the rise. In my county I live in they attempt it often. Had one the other day while we were going uphill on a two lane road. They let off the gas hoping I would hit. I was forced to do a illegal overtake to avoid them. That is just one of many tactics they employ.

People need to keep a safe distance to the cars ahead of them. I can't tell you how many times I am in the slow lane and some moron is so close I cant see their head lights. If I have to brake it will not be pretty.

They have been doing road work on a bridge in my area. We have a lot of entitled drivers who see the signs left lane closed in 1 mile, 1500 ft, 1000 ft. They try to line cut and I wasnt having it. Since I had already let two cars in already. White Ram attempted to force his way in on me. Imkept on going no collision. Someone behind me let him in. He runs up with a crow bar. My window was down so Imdeployed pepoer spray. A cop was there saw the whole thing arrested him. He has been charged with battery, resisting arrest, unsafe driving through a road work zone etc. Lets just say this entitled moron not only got peppered but now has some hefty fines and charges. To the road ragers out there is all that worth it? Moral of the story stop feeling entitled. Follow the signage and things will go smoother for you. Also anger management wouldnt hurt.

If you rewatch the footage the cars behind her were not going left. If it had been a turn lane there would have been other cars involved in the accident. The lack of their presence is the other cars behind passed straight not a turn. Also if you had noticed there was no painting left turn designation thus the reason she hit him.

I live in Tennessee. Rural area had a idiot from Illinois tried to rage on me. He was fuming. So i hit him with black bear repellant. He stopped rage mode. Lesson here is dont be stupid and dont threaten other people.

Lane splitting is illegal in Tennessee so it stands to reason it maybe illegal in other states. That being said it maybe legal in your state but to a person not from your state may take umbrage to your maneuver. I have seen how lane splitting can go wrong. Saw a biker loose control during a lane split he ended up under a rig that rolled right over him.

@jeremy-8556 If hadn't been changing oil at the scheduled time then that also could void the warranty. Maintenance is necessary. If you don't see to your upkeep bad things happen. Seen raptors seize up because people aren't changing oil and using the appropriate weighted oil.

@daldrete01 There is more to it than that. He performed alot of modifications on that vehicle. Changing out parts in the motor and upgrading it beyond factory spec will also void the warranty. Also if you don't perform your required maintenance for your vehicle. Manufacturers are not responsible for alterations you make to your ride. They also can't be blamed if you don't perform required maintenance. Appropriate antifreeze, oil changes and air filters.

@miguel6608 The guy was doing the only thing he could. Letting the guy know there is traffic behind them and a wreck could lead to 75 tons slamming into them. You think it's unnecessary but you neglected that tail gater was the obnoxious prick that almost rear ended a driver signaling their intention to get off the freeway. You can double down and say it's unnecessary. So is riding people's asses with no regard to the safety of others.

@bluezone8714 ok let's look at the facts. The truck wasn't break checked by the aggressive driver. He was two to three car lengths ahead. He was tail gating the car in front at a dangerously close distance. The car being tailgated had it's turn signal indicating an intention to turn off. The trucker seeing the situation hit his horn. Granted this could have distracted one or both drivers but it was the only thing he had available. The truck even if only traveling 45 miles an hour if it is loaded to capacity it would still take 14 to 24 feet to complete stop. You do the math.

What is always fun is you are in the slow lane driving the speed limit when some random going a hundred miles hour switches lanes no indicator break checks you complete with tread marks then hits the gas continuing to race to their eventual pile up or ticket depending what their karma point system is at.

Had a dumbass pull what that fucker did to 21 he found out quickly we have guns down here in the southeast to. He got lucky, though, troopers pulled up and arrested him they saw the whole thing. He was lucky be cause I was already taking aim before he even raised his pistol. If the troopers hadn't been there eh. What was sad is he didn't even have the right person. I drive a Ford he was passed at a Nissan.
