  1. I work for Japanese making parts for cars. They are good honest people. They don't deserve this. When my mom and brother passed they gave me plenty of time to grieve and make arrangements. When I came back to work the president of the plant from Japan came to my department and offered his condolences for my loss and thanked me for working so hard for the company. I will never forget that kindness. The clout chaser is a dick.

  6. I served in the army and was never in combat. I don't brag about it. It was just something I did at one time. I do get irritated at the treatment of veterans who have actually been through combat and the lack of respect and benefits given to them to recover their lives after they comeback home.

  7. That road is their lifeline. Without it tribal members cannot get to medical appointments, essential supplies, or commutes to work as some have jobs outside the reservation. In essence the protesters are doing what occurred in the past threaten the tribes means of support and way of life.

  15. Some of the homeless are not drug addled. Increasingly screwed by progressive policies that over inflated rent and housing prices. Shrinking job opportunities and a increasingly apathetic government that talk a good game but deliver nothing but corruption and hair brained schemes that do nothing but waste time and money. The homeless guy said it all if there were jobs available so we could support ourselves. That statement is true but the standard of living blown out of whack by progressive regulation. This regulation only serves to keep the poor brutally so and the wealthy even more wealthy.

He was killed when he was getting ready to leave a job he was working on. A drunk driver hit him going 70 in a 35. He was a good kind man. He was only 34. He left behind no children.

  31. Putin isn't a good guy that is not disputable. Yet how is it our problem? How do you justify sending aide to a foreign country when our own vital infrastructure and cities deteriorate.? Political elite hate hard questions. Doesn't matter what party they hate being put on the spot. Frankly this is unchecked elite power in play there.   36. @danlc95  They are good people. I have peace about their passing. Being given time to grieve and make arrangements helped me immensely. I have worked for quite a few places but when my kin passed they gave me the time I needed. So I respect and appreciate them very much. Japanese people are decent people. So seeing that poster pull his garbage for clicks and clout angered me. I hope I can return the favor some day to my fellow coworkers from Japan if they suffer a similar loss. I pray it never happens but if it does I. Will support them as much as they did me.

  37. @gemmalfirefly4287  they are but in a good way. Often they pressure themselves too much. Most are conscientious and hard working. Very helpful if you work with them. I love their dedication to their tasks. They embody practice makes perfect. So rare in this world these days.

Maybe I am a sap but a good turn or a kind gesture is precious to me a treasure. I love my family and they honored that. How could I not treasure people who allowed me to do what I could for family?

Many Japanese are very guarded and reserved especially in a business or professional setting but make no mistake they are compassionate and very human. Just Japanese society tends to conceal their expressions. Not certain why though. Perhaps it's defensive or perhaps loud displays of emotion is frowned upon in their society. I have found Japanese are very expressive once they get used to you and are comfortable enough around you to let their guard down. I wouldn't call it shyness more than seeing how best to interact in a foreign or unknown situation.
