Democracy is the RESULT of civilized state n social stability, NOT as the CAUSE. Better improving life ethics n state economy first, then we can talk about "democracy" after that. . Squid Game is great, but for this year KDrama... I prefer Devil Judge. It has wilder plot. And to think Devil Judge is not in Netflix, this could be there are some elements and scenes in last episodes are too sensitive to these days global situation. It might be worried the drama's plot could drive the audience's general opinions. I can't tell what it is due to heavy spoiler, but I recommend you all to watch Devil Judge as well. One of the best KDramas I ever watched so far with such unique story concept.

Cyrus Jansen made a video about it, when he came back to US and met his relatives. Came to topic a friend asked about him. So he talked about how wonderful his life is after a decade living in China. He told...no one paid attention to him. They all just hooked on their phones.

As for week ago, there were thousands rioters arrested. 750 of them were aged below 18, and more than 100 of them below 16 - including 12 and 13-year-olds. If they think they are old enough to do such stuff, then face the consequences n punishments like adults do. Masks surely to disguise their actions and make them so self-righteous. . These young rioters say China has breached the "One Country, Two Systems". But if we look closely... they actually the one who make attempts to force China to breach the system. They deliberately keep doing vandalize properties n violence to others who have different opinions so that Bejing will send the PLA. Once it happen, it surely easy for US to give human rights sanction to China n demonize her in international community. Rioters deliberately keep destroying their city in hoping HK economy will plunge to the bottom. Because once it happen, the pan-democrats would be easy to ask "support" from western to "liberate" HK. . That's why these rioters are not mind even though they ask "foreign power" to support them, and that's their very scenario. While we can see from history what happen to Syria, Libya, Ukraine, Venezuela, etc. The "absolute democracy" mindset will not bring them anywhere but nothing. Because there is no called "freedom" without basic integrity, nationalist spirit, and even bread n jam on your table. . The result was clearly that the official govrnment acknowledged by most of contries in the worId (UN members) are still the PRC (Mainland), not ROC (Taiwan). From 35 wh0 supported Taiwan (1976) and now skip to Dec 2021 with Nicaragua just changed shift to PRC, which made only 14 contries remaining. ROC Taiwan's position in de jure is less fortunate and will shrink from time to time in near future. CPC doesn't need to do anything, only time wiII teII. Mainland wants to attack Taiwan? That red Hanfu girl is blessed with natural cute face, even with just ordinary clothes she looks calm n enchanting. Then when she wears Hanfu, I'm dying :D . Anyway, Chinese youngsters seem have learned from Indian to wear the traditional clothes in daily life proudly. To make it clear, as international views we often mistook the Chinese traditional dress for long time now. We always think it's Cheongsam/Qipao (female) and Changshan (male) as it which actually they just introduced around 100 years ago in Qing dynasty era, where the culture originally from northeastern of Manchu. . Yes, of course they are one of traditional dresses, but if we talk the "real" ethnic one, wider majority of Han people, it should be Hanfu. Just like Indonesia that has hundreds of ethnic groups with their own respective traditional clothes, but nationally it should be Batik.

@FruityHachi People have preferences. Maybe it's not just your cup of tea. The dragging feeling is because it has 16 eps, which is I think too long as well. I also felt the low n boring mood starts at around eps 4/5, but the bomb drops and makes the mood gets higher. I'm half agree with typical political drama. It could be yes, but it offers unique story concept along the episodes. It's kind of drama that you even can't miss any single word/scene or you can get left behind. Like I said before about preferences. I prefer drama/movie with plot that will make my brain works, not just mere enjoy the show. Some like Christoper Nolan's maybe. Almost similar to Squid Game, Devil Judge also has message to tell to the audience about true nature humanity. DJ delivers it in such genius way, some intersting and some tragic due to closeness to human's reality.

@teeteetuu94 You must be know how wise parents teach their children to become someone great in the future. Yes, wise parents won't give freedom to the children in early days. But they will teach them how to be responsible, manner, and ethics in strict way to shape their character. Once the child gets adult and learned all the good things from parent, that's the time he/she will have their own freedom. It goes the same with running the country. The people should be taught and aware first. Strict first and then we talk about freedom after that. That's how Singapore and China can develop in such short time. While US is still stagnant because their people are actually don't understand the meaning of democracy, or not mature enough to fathom it.

@chickennoodle6620 Just face the reality that Mainland now is more developed and modern than Taiwan. HK and Taiwan were great back in 70s-80s, but the era has changed. There are more opportunity and innovation in Mainland, while Taiwanese still glorifying their old hay day. I never understand why Taiwanese always brag and proud about their "western" democracy, while at the same time we as global netizen can "enjoy" the Taiwanese govt often throwing fists and chair to each other during meeting. Chinese Mainland govt does offer scholarships as well, and many of students go aboard to western countries. But the story is surely different with Taiwanese. After graduate, Chinese students usually will back home, either for take care their parents or bring back knowledge they have learned from aboard. Then they utilize their knowledge and skill to build the contry and help the community. See how many western companies have been flocking to do invest in China in recent years? Even award-winning Chinese mathematician Ma Xiaonan and Wang Xujia have left their decades-long career in Europe to join teaching in univ in China.

Because Google, Fb, AOL, and other US apps/webs were using our datas that we registered in those webs. It's not a yesterday thing to know that CIA and NSA have exclusive route to access data everybody in the world via those companies. They use it for various reasons. The last time was for political campaign in US. I think u should watch "The Great Hack" on Netflix to learn more. TikTok may has some privacy concern, but other western apps also have notorious history about data stealing.

@malamankar8639 Some people out there also had died not just playing TikTok. Previous years there also Pokemon Go, Instagram stories, SnapChat, and others. That's why it's not about the gun, it's totally man behind it. Whether they use it wisely or not. Indian govt has all the rights to do that because India is a sovereign state. But I think the banning TikTok in India will change nothing, but will make some Indian suffer more in this pandemic. Especially the mid-low economic class who depend on this app to generate decent money. Of course there are other alternative apps beside TikTok, but it surely takes more time for some to be familiar with. It's also will take more time to rebuild their audiences through those alternative apps. The banning is just fuel and satisfy the Indian ultra-nasionalist/chauvinist community temporarily, but they don't even know the positive sides of the app for some Indian out there. I don't even understand why some people choose pride over basic needs, such as income. Of course being nasionalist is great, but in this context, we cannot choose such action while we cannot even provide meal for our own stomach. Now I feel pity for Indians out there who really impacted by this pandemic + lose job + additional income from TikTok.
