It already happened obviously. They blame, hit, and speak racist words to Mainlanders just because they have better life and more money to spend in HK. HK young generation should be grateful to what they have now, because there's no restriction in speech and internet censorship. Sadly, they cannot utilize it to build their own lives in positive way, but create chaos instead.

The more misled and ignorant the masses are, the better it is for the guys who really know what’s going on and who are the ones you should really be worried about. China with long history of war tactics, I believe the govt has something more behind it sleeve. For now, Beijing doesn't want to take bait. They even send PLA with brooms to help clear HK streets from debris and a video of soldiers dancing near the sea of HK. It totally opposite from what western media narrating of. Here's my assumption regarding Chinese govt moves: Govt wants to show Mainlanders the result how a region gonna turns up without Beijing full authority. Plus, govt also wants to show to the international viewers this is the kind of "democracy" that western always promote about.

While HK's economy trend has come more and more downward, Rwanda, Singapore, and China have proved that authoritarian govt is great for the sake's of country future and the people's life. AS LONG the leader is the visionary one and has strong political will + commitment to build the country up. Now the questions would be... do u prefer STABILITY or FREEDOM? A civilized country is not determined by freedom of speech or democracy. It's all determined by people's behaviours, economic development, and strong nationalism value. Democracy is the RESULT of civilized state and social stability, NOT as the CAUSE . Better improving life ethics and state economics first, then we can talk about "democracy" after that. I bet most of these young rioters even don't comprehend the sentence above.
