HK latest incident is similar to Tiananmen, that's what we heard by young protesters. But I would say it just paranoid mindset n western hypocrisy. IF true it's the same incident, then China would easily n swiftly send military to the front line and finish up those protesters in a single night. The fact, HK police still restrained and totally different with how most police handle chaotic mass in other countries.
.
Protesters always argue about police use shield, baton, tear gas, while they even don't have such proper protection. Oh yeah, that's very basic equipment for police to disperse chaotic mass in any other countries in the world. Nonsense argue. Even though police always raise warning banner with message "Please... don't... beware...", but protesters keep pushing forward. Then they reap what they sow.

You know Lee Kuan Yew?
He was the first prime minister or the man who successfully brought SG to the world-class city. Under his regime, he implemented the same method with China these days. I got both info from internet n senior local, they tell me that democracy in SG is just at the "front". Truthfully, he used so-called communist way or "soft-dictatorship" to rule SG during his 30 years regime.
.
Lee once talked in an interview:
"We would not be here today IF we implemented the full original constitutional the British gave us. It would be disorder. People want jobs. If they don't get jobs n they have no income to feed their families, we have a revolution. It's not about DEMOCRACY. How does voting another man/woman to be your government, but he/she cannot produce jobs.... How does that help you?"

.
If you don't believe SG is not really implement full-democracy, you can check Wikipedia right now. PAP (People's Action Party) always win n never beaten in elections until now since 60's. Curios why? Because SG gov uses almost the same system with China today. You can find the reason by typing this on Google: Why do opposition parties find it so hard to win in elections in Singapore? (Quora).
.
At the end of day, there's no problem for a country to be a democratic one, but it's about how they get it. HK people must be aware if there's foreign intervention during the process. And this HK protest does heavily got intervention from western, especially US.

Of course, because these HK youngs have been brainwashed by western hypocrisy. The bill itself is actually for suspect who already sentenced for 7 years imprisonment. So if a person has done something illegal in both HK or China n got sentenced for 7 years, then China has absolute right to extradite his/her. Figures who most afraid to this bill: serial murder, corruptor, drugs people, dirty businessman, regime oppositions, etc.
If we just a student, daily worker, entrepreneur, n live normal daily life, so why so scare about the bill?
Most of these protesters probably only shouting n fighting without comprehend the details n all they do is just follow ego instead learn history n geo-politics. I wonder what's the meaning of "real democracy" in their thick heads...
