@ced1106 Mutual funds is how you and me can access into stock markets wealth. If you don't have big money or skill in stock trading, mutual funds is the solution. Some are sucks, but most are decent enough to give better passive income than bank interest.

And Wall Street is able to maintain their customers' confidence that their money is safe in the care of Wall Street's numerous institutions. Confidence is a very precious thing. It's expensive. And Wall Street have it in abundance. That's where those trillion dollars come from. You want to tear down Wall Street? Easy. Make people lose their confidence on Wall Street.
