  2.  @imfromheII88  Maybe CCP got a hint from news of Japanese companies that are still using craftsmen to produce precision components. NHK even made some documentaries of it, one of it was to pit craftsmen against engineers using state of the art grinding machine to produce top with longest spin time. And they amusingly won. But they are working in mechanical industries, which only need precision in micrometers. CCP then exaggerates it into nanometers realm, which is not doable with human nerve system.

  5.  @astralclub5964  Mechanical components will have tolerance in micrometer. It's still achievable by human. Some Japanese companies use craftsmen to produce their precision components. NHK made some documentaries about that. I think whoever wrote that script of propaganda, got their idea from those documentaries, and push it into ridiculous realm. Nanometer is in a far higher class. Human nerve system can't perceive the difference in nanometer.
