  1.  @shrin210  You can't compare India with China of today. India of today is comparable with China in the early 1980s. A half century of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty had stifled India the way Mao Ze Dong did to China. India is still learning the rope as China did in 1980s.

  8. Why demographic inversion will be a problem? Chinese people already accustomed to take care of their parents for millennia, so it won't come as a shock to them. One crucial thing is, unlike in the US or Japan, there are no Social Security type of retirement package in China, so the government did not burden themselves with ever growing obligation and ever shrinking workforce. Their problem is about freedom. People with money will always want more freedom. And the CCP surely won't (can't) allow that. On the other hand, to limit freedom will smother their economic growth. It's a conundrum with the eventual result is whether CCP demise or economic growth falter.
