  1. The British Empire dismantled suttee tradition (which was almost as old as caste system) not by AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, but by outright outlaw it, to hell with the resistance. If you want to blame why caste system still linger beside decades and beside the clear word of constitution, blame it at affirmative action and SOCIALISM that created the perfect ground for charlatans. Dismantle those two, and the caste system days will be numbered.
