  1. Depends on what you mean by "multiculturalism". Where a proportion of the community are from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and where those ethnicities are integrated so as to not cause division... that can work. That can be a positive. That's pretty much the way it works in my city. But very often "multiculturalism" will be a negative. It can create cultural ghettos and social division, especially when religion is involved and especially when Islam is involved. Many cultures can work together but Islam cannot in my opinion.
