  1. I feel you've misunderstood the comments regarding ethnicity. In reality, it would be very easy to mistake Russians for Ukrainians. It would also be easy to mistake Canadians for Americans. I do regularly. It depends on accent. I very often can't tell the difference whether visually or superficially. I'm pretty sure that's what he meant. Definitely not a big fail if taken in context. That said, he was definitely wrong about a bunch of other stuff.
