I would disagree with Anastasia's comments near the end of the conversation regarding Russians not being ready to die for their country, about those leaving and comparing the Russian example with Ukraine's fight for freedom. I've heard this argument before, very often promoted by Ukrainians but also Westerner's. It's inaccurate and overly simplistic.

  2.  @krissteel4074  Excellent point and said better than I could. People who glibly suggest Russians should just rise up for freedom appear to not have an understanding of what they would be up against. It would take more than a few people "willing to die" to make any difference in my opinion.
