  5. The people of Iraq wanted freedom in 2003. The joy and celebration at the arrival of troops into some of the outer towns and cities was a wonderful sight. But, it was short-lived as the opportunities were quandered by political incomptence, religious in-fighting, and tribalism. Same in Afganistan. You can't destroy bad ideas with guns. I enjoy your podcasts even though I disagree with a lot of what was said in this one.
