  1. There is nothing wrong with both sides not losing, but that depends on what you meant by "lose". A collapse of the ruzzian federation could be very bad for everyone. A win for Ukraine would be the total withdrawal of ruzzia from Ukraine. I would consider that a win for Ukraine but not a loss for ruzzia. That would simply restore the official international borders. It could even be considered a win for both sides because there are potentially worse outcomes available for both sides.
