That saying is not true anyway. I'm glad it isn't said. I'm not woke. Actually I'm center-right and anti- woke. But I was also bullied relentlessly both physically but mostly mentally for 10 years until I dropped out of school in a suicidal state. Took me a decade to recover to the point where I could cope anywhere near normally. Now 50 years on, the scares are still deep. Yes, "names" are damaging. One of my classmates who was also bullied wasn't so lucky. He didn't make it out of school.
