  3. I knew nothing about Vim before seeing this except that it's apparently great... but it's not for me. I don't like editors that work in modes. That's a deal breaker already. And I also don't like keyboard shortcuts. I prefer a mouse and GUI. Yeah, people say a mouse is too slow and clunky... I like it and I was sold on it in1986 with the Amiga. I never looked back. All of this excessive tapping on a keyboard is so 1970's and could cause RSI.

  4. I agree. Vim is ridiculous in 2024. Back in the 80s... maybe. I guess some people just like making life hard for themselves.
