  2. Then said black folk have been waiting for the wrong thing. Only racists rattle on about the importence of skin color. Normal people, people who are not racist (and that's the majority) simply don't care about skin color, they care more about merrit, how good is a person, what are their skills etc. It's time to forget about our differences and focus on what we have in common. Realising we're all human might be a good place to start. Forget the 400 years, live now.

  10. A computer can store a whole lot of data. It can process the data and present it as usefull information but it doesn't think in the way most would define thinking. It just mechanically follows the steps programmed into it. So can a computer be conscious? No, I doubt it.

He's lumped together a huge range of phenomena and effectively claimed that they're all bogus! That's an extraordinary claim with no evidence provided. As for charlatans... yes there are charlatans in every walk of life, but to single out a particular group and suggest that they are all charlatans is dispicable in my opinion.

  14. Buttons make clothing look ugly... nauseatingly so. Buttoned shirts are the worst. I don't get what people like about them. Ugly little lumps of plastic or whatever poking through... it's like having warts Yeah, some are "ornate" or "decorative", but who really wants a row of those clunky pointless things dangling on your clothing. Embarrassing. I hate buttons.
