  1. Maybe true for x86 (not sure) but for all CPUs I've worked with, move was effectively a copy with source and destination both valid after execution.

  2.  @sbalogh53  Spot on. Most of the developers I've worked with wouldn't have a clue about what's under the hood. It's mostly high level stuff these days.

  3. My first 'computer' back in the mid 70's had 1k, so 64k seemed outrageous. All coding was done in hex. I can remember someone around the mid 90's telling me they'd installed a 2Gb hard drive. My first thought was why would you need that much storage? Mine was ~300MB. It's all relative to the times.
