  1.  Will R Thomson  The evidence for Ivermectin is mixed and weak at best. Only an incompetent would recommend it for widespread use without a decent double blind trial and we're still waiting for that. The Oxford study might give use the information we need but it's not done yet.

  2.  @anneramsay840  That's anecdotal. Science isn't based on anecdote. What if that doctor was just lucky. We might discover from a decent trial that the dosage needs to be high and that side effects are serious at that dosage. We need to know that stuff but we don't. If you want it and can get it then that's on you. I wouldn't want my doctor using me as a guinea pig.
