  1. It could take months for a number of reasons. Based on what I've read.... a new variant is dominating. Most have recieved only the first dose with efficacy reported to be around 50%. it takes a month to build immunity so there is a lag. They need 80% immunized with 2 doses for herd immunity, currently around 20% with one dose.

  6. Would likely take another 2 to 3 years at current rates with another million deaths. I don't consider that a good strategy.
