So the Pfizer vaccine produces 95% efficacy after 2 months (2 shots program fully completed) while the AZ vaccine produces 82% after maybe 5 months (after 2 shots program fully completed)?

That idea seems ludicrous. The whole point of testing is to catch and isolate as many infectious people as possible. False positives are preferable to false negatives. Watch the death rate allowing for a few weeks lag. See if it confirms the trend. The infection rate is more likely down due to changed human behaviour, masks, lockdowns etc.

Probsbly coincidence. Realise that infected cells are pumping out thousands of "variants". The virus is always mutating. We only get to hear about the more common variant or the ones hyped by the media.
