  1. There will of course be folk like your mother but I believe they are a small minority in terms of the mask issue. Around 1% I've heard it reported have genuine issues. I see many people on a daily basis flaunting mask rules from all demographics. I cannot accept that 25% of a population at any given time are so seriously I'll or forgetful as to be incapable of something as simple as covering their noses. I mean, why have a mask on if it's under the chin? When people genuinely and consciously care about others around them, they'll wear a mask. Sadly there's too much of me me me me.

  2. The inability of people to wear a mask correctly has been a stark reminder of how stupid too many people are. Is there any hope for humanity? I wonder.
